1. My classes are going well. My HW load is much more intensive this semester, but I enjoy my classes (other than 1) a lot! My technical writing class may be hard, but it's so interesting! I also like my Math 315 (Theory of Analysis, like..proving calculus), and my religion class (LDS marriage & family). I feel like I'm learning a lot--and I'll be able to learn much more!
2. I'm TA-ing for Math 334 (Differential Equations) this semester. I probably work only 6.5-7 hours a week (half what I worked last semester), but that's okay since I'm so busy. It's good to keep up on material. I enjoyed the class a lot, so I've liked TA-ing a lot. Then again, if I could go back and TA for Math 113 (Calculus) again, I would in a heartbeat.
3. I set a some new years resolutions, and I'm actually keeping ALL of them! This has never happened before. So here are some of them--
- get asked on 10 dates (I've been asked on two)
- stop biting my fingernails (I've biten my whole life, tried to stop multiple times, and never succeeded....until now! It's been over a month!)
- do dishes more often
- write in my journal a few times weekly
- read the BOM every 3 months (I'm right on schedule--in the middle of Mosiah!)

I have so many things I could write, but I'm not sure which things to write (what would be interesting, and what would be completely boring). Maybe if you want to hear updates on something specific, you could let me know and I'll include it when I blog.
Here's a funny math thing I love. It's on a professor's door:
Okay, and before I end this post, here's my journal entry from the night President Hinckley passed away. Nothing sophisticated, just what I was feeling."President Hinckley died today. I really didn't expect it or believe it--I heard first by a text from Amy and then Jehn. Everyone was texting everyone. It's really hard and sad, especially since President Faust died only 5 months ago. But I keep being reminded that Pres. Hinckley is with his wife now, and they are so much happier. I know that to be true. I'm just so grateful for his life and his example. I will miss him dearly--he is the only prophet I remember. I always knew this day would come but it was still hard. He was a great man. I love him so much, and I can't wait to meet him on the other side."
Hope everyone is doing well! Feel free to leave me comments (they make my day). :)

I love the math joke! It made me smile.
Congrats going a month without biting your nails!! That is so fabulous! I am a former nail-biter myself. I stopped the summer I turned 16 because I thought that boys might want to hold my hand and I wanted pretty hands. LOL. I was so dumb when I was 16! But, whatever works. I'm pretty much freed from it ... unless I'm watching a really intense movie and I get all involved and nervous. I did a number on my nails when we first saw National Treasure in the movie theaters. Ooooh, and I think the date goal is really cute! Good luck with that one!
Hey nat! Your nails look great since i last saw them! Remember how i read your goals as soon as you wrote them and laughed? I don't get the math joke. Can you explain it to me? Would i even understand it? Love ya!
~Molly
Also, i see you changed the thing on the side to 20 year old. You are so old!
Natty!!! I was so excited to see your new post! Glad you're enjoying the new semester and the TAing. I'm so proud of your fingernails! They look great!! (PS you are old. Jacqueline's birthday was yesterday and you've already been 20 for a month and a half.) j/k j/k. :) Check out my blog for Europe pictures and updates! Love you!
well you are adorable!
good job on the nails.. btw.
start working more and give me money. thank you, and I'll be waiting for my check of at least 500000000000 dollars in the mail. OK. So maybe only 2000. But yeah. Don't worry! I'll be sending you that subway sandwich in the mail in no time (hopefully)!! ;)
And natalie.. Number one.. I win. Cause I'm bald. haah.. jk.
#1 I am trying to read the BOm once a month. This first month has been hard because I broke my fingers multiple times, but I'll catch up and finish it 12 times this year. #2 10 dates.. you already have 2!! You are on a roll girlfriend! Now my goal WAS to get married. But seeing as I'm not even 17.5 yet... I think I''ll go for the goal of getting asked on my frist date (sometime this year).. that WOULD be nice..
Ok. Have a nice life. Keep up the good work on the nails!! I expect to see you in the guiness world record book in a couple of years with THE longest nails EVER!!
haha. LOVE YOU SIS! See you in april!! :)
the math joke is so funny, nerdy, but funny! oh, btw molly, maggie just mentioned the other day that she wanted to come and visit you at your house cuz she thought it was fun to play with you last thanksgiving at dan and val's. can you believe she remembered? anyways natalie, great goals. i think the date one is especially funny. i'm not sure if i would have ever thought of that as a "goal". :)
Pretty nails! Proud of you!
I enjoyed the math joke. :) Your math classes and things sound interesting. I worked in the math lab at byu and really enjoyed it. And good job with those nails. :) I was horrible for a long time. I don't think I stopped until my first kid was born. Crazy.
