On Wednesday, my Dad & Mom, Me, Jenna, and Molly met Asialene, Savanna, and Makenna. They drove halfway from Philly and we drove halfway from Northern VA. We met at a TGI Fridays and then went to a park afterwards and played. It was way fun! The girls took a little bit to warm up to us, but then they were so fun! It was really great to see them.
On Thursday night, Jenna, Molly, and I went to the Demi Lovato/David Archuleta concert. It was a ton of fun! We had a really good time and screamed a lot. We had great seats and the concert was only 15 minutes from us! It was seriously the best.
Friday was family day. Katie and Connor came down from Bethesda and we all went to see the movie Bandslam. Molly had seen it before and LOVED it. It was definitely a cute movie and very funny. Later that day, Allie joined us and we went out to dinner at Olive Garden and then to a Nationals baseball game. Even though the Nationals lost, we had fun. It rained pretty hard but our nosebleed seats kept us nice and dry! Yay.
Yesterday we got family pictures taken. Hopefully some of them will turn out. We had to do it inside since it was storming and my family is known for having bad camera smiles.
I recently got my hair cut. It was really scary because I haven't had my hair short since 6th grade. But I actually really like it. It's different, though. I think it will be easier to style early in the morning once I start student teaching, so that's another plus.
A couple weeks ago, Trent & Lyndi's family came and stayed with us for a week. Lyndi's sister Anita got married, so they were here for the wedding. It was so fun to have them here! Their girls are beyond cute. I did have to play hide and seek one million times, but it was worth it. And Ceci is the happiest baby ever and is so adorable. Trent, Lyndi, Molly, and Me (and sometimes my parents) stayed up every night talking or playing Nertz. It was a lot of fun!

I love the haircut! It is so cute on you. What a fun summer, too. Lots of family. Glad at least some of the Baker side (ie. we Smiths) are cool enough to live back east. ;)
ps. so did David open for Demi, or Demi open for David? Or was it a combo thing and they sang together?!
What cute hair. I think change is always fun. I love that you got to see so much family. It is so nice to have a bunch of you living within somewhat close proximity.
Janae- it was David opening for Demi. Jenna was most excited for David, Molly was most excited for Demi, and I was excited for both. So it was fun!
